impressions about the cooperation project

During the cooperation project with the cambodian students I’ve learned a lot of interesting things about an “exotic” country and a few of its paople… As we started the project I didn’t even know where Cambodia is situated on the world map but during the sessions I became very noisy and I was really excited about all the informations we’ve got.

Most interesting for me were the impressions we got about daily life in Cambodia  – shown in the video produktions and also in some of the Cambodian blogs …I’ve also been glad for training my English a little bit ;-)

The communication process was sometimes blocked by technical – and also time – problems but I’ve also made the experience that some of the Cambodian students were enjoyed in answering our questions and they also posed interesting questions about us and our life in Germany.

There’s still so much I’ld like to know about that small country very, very far away from us and I’m very sure that -from now on- I’ll be much more sensibilised for Cambodian-informations that will reach me in any way! :-)

Music makes me happy everyday…

I don’t know how you all think about it but I couldn’t live without music! My day starts and also ends with a lot of different melodies…

If I have to get up early in the morning I am alarm clock “rings” … but not with a “piep-piep-piep” (…what an awful imagination…) Currently I’m awakened by the Cranberries and their song “Analyse”. The songs starts soft and it makes me start the day with a smile 8-D

piep-piep-piep

There is only one problem: I like the song very much and so I am listening to it again and again. That’s why I’m sometimes a little late when university-lessons start early in the morning.

When I go out of bed I’m looking for a shower. But there’s no shower in my flat without loud music and singing – Who doesn’t love it?? Everybody can sing while taking a shower :-)

So here I don’t listen to the same music everyday. Sometimes I only switch on the radio. It can be nice ’cause you get also the news of the day and the possibility to get to know new songs you didn’t know before. When I like that new song – I’m looking onto my watch…why? ‘Cause then you can have a look on the homepage of the radio transmitter. They all give you the possibility of reconstructing their whole programme. On wednesday I’ve used it the last time. It was 8:40 pm and I loved that song immediately. If your nosy, take a peep on this grandious song:

I didn’t know Marit Larsen before but I like her – you too? Oh…I’ve opened the link at the moment – while I’m sitting here – an listen to the song : singing and happy ;-)

music makes life more gaudy

When I go to university, I’m also listening to the radio in my car – there’s nothing better then listen to good music, pump up the volume, open the window and sing as loud as possible – if you haven’t ever had the possibility to try it – use your very next chance!

oh no, that's not my own car ;-)

I’m also often listening to music which I’ve bought anywhen. Some of it I don’t like anymore and I hope that nobody may find these cds in my cupboard… but there are also a lot of componists I will ever love. One of them is Bryan Adams!

Bryan Adams

I love all his music and I’ve also visited three or four of his concerts. He’s a very cute canadian boy, makes rockmusic and also a lot of grandious ballads. I’ve visited the concerts with my friends and they also “love” him. The last time I’ve seen him was in September last year. We’ve got a standing-place in the second or third line and were glad to see him directly…but as the show started, he came into the middle of the hall and not into the front. At first we were disappointed but five of his six guitares were standing on the stage just in front of us. So we didn’t lose all of our hope. After the first two songs he came – straight through all his fans and with the sixth guitar – “to us”…*Yippie*

I’ve also visited other concerts with other singers. I like these adventures. I’ve also seen Nelly Furtado. Do you know her? She’s a great singer with a lot of women-power… she ran up and down the stairs on her stage – in highheels – nearly the whole time. It was really incredible!

So, now I have to take a shower…you know what I also need for a good shower ;-) )

My first friend has just married…

I’ve just come in and have closed my door…now I’ve passed the “deadline” and I’m very sorry, but I’ve spend my whole weekend (from wednesday ’til now) on Föhr – that’s the small island I’ve told about to be able to celebrate the height of the first of my friends. It has been a dreem!!! The weather, the party, the dresses…all!!

In Germany there is nearly no marriage possible ’til the futurity bridal couple has managed its stag party – do you also know this tradition? We’ve kidnapped our friend two weeks ago for a trip to Hamburg (that’s a well known city 150 kilometers away from Flensburg. Hamburg is known for its very colourful nightlife ;-)

As we arrived there by train – all dressed as chickens…so we’ve been 13 wild chickens and one cock the whole night…we first had to look for our hotel. It was in the center of St. Pauli – a district of Hamburg with the wildest nightlife-scene in the whole town.

The next point of our program was a one-hours-stretch limousine-tour all around Hamburg. We’ve enjoyed it very much with a lot of loud singing and drinking some bottles of sparkling wine. At the end our driver brought us to the harbour. There was a large party and our cock – or the bride-to-be – had to sell a lot of alcohol and other things like kisses, dances and songs. We all have had very much fun and as we’ve earned enough money we left the party to have a look for a policeman in a striptease bar…

The next day we all went home by train again and I’m very sure that we’ll talk about this night in the following years of our great friendship!!
